Ingredients:

1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
For the Toppings:
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 strips crispy bacon
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 tbsp butter
1/2 onion, sliced and caramelized
For the Burger Bun:
1 brioche burger bun
1 tbsp butter (for toasting)
Instructions:
Prepare the Burger Patties:
Combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Shape into two equal-sized patties.
Cook the patties in a skillet or on a grill over medium-high heat for about 3β4 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness.
Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to let it melt.
Cook the Bacon and Mushrooms:
In a separate skillet, cook the bacon strips until crispy and set aside on a paper towel.
In the same skillet, melt the butter and sautΓ© the mushrooms until tender and golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Caramelize the Onions:
In a separate pan, cook the sliced onions over low heat with a bit of butter until theyβre golden and caramelized.
Toast the Bun:
Butter the cut sides of the burger bun and toast in a skillet or on the grill until golden and slightly crispy.
Assemble the Burger:
Place the bottom bun on a plate.
Add caramelized onions as the base layer.
Place the first cheese-topped burger patty on top.
Add two strips of crispy bacon.
Place the second cheese-topped patty, followed by sautΓ©ed mushrooms.
Top with the upper bun.
