2 boneless chicken breasts, halved horizontally
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp hot sauce
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Vegetable oil for frying

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp butter

For the Sandwich:
2 brioche buns
1 tbsp melted butter
Instructions:
Marinate the Chicken:
Combine buttermilk and hot sauce in a bowl.
Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for better flavor).
Prepare the Coating:
Mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, and salt in a shallow dish.
Remove chicken from the buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture until fully coated.
Fry the Chicken:
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat (around 350Β°F/175Β°C).
Fry the chicken pieces for 3β4 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.
Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
Make the Spicy Cheese Sauce:
In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
Add heavy cream and gradually stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
Add cayenne pepper and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth.
Toast the Buns:
Brush the brioche buns with melted butter and toast in a skillet or under a broiler until golden brown.
Assemble the Sandwich:
Spread a generous layer of spicy cheese sauce on the bottom bun.
Stack two crispy chicken pieces on top.
Add more cheese sauce and cover with the top bun.
